Just a heads-up for anyone who may have a child who enjoys Dora the Explorer.

Dora's getting a makeover.

She'll be getting longer hair, a shorter skirt, and ballet flats. Possibly because she's not sexy enough?!?

I can't tell you how tired I am of the sexualization of our children.

Thanks for the heads up- that is ridiculous! There are plenty of "cartoons" aimed at pre-school kids that haven't EVER grown up (Caillou is one of them, and we all know how much he NEEDS to grow up)
I totally put my vote in - It may get banned from my house if that's what she is going to look like!

Wow, I'm glad my girls outgrew Dora. Maybe they could make her a pop star who nobody knows is a pop star whose father sets her up with 20 year old men. What? Has that been done already?

a side note to the first comment... there are several adult cartoons as well that dont grow up.... simpsons!
